I just got an 02 disco with 88700 miles, after 2 days the service engine soon light came on. So got the codes read ... 02 sensor up stream and one down. In discussion with a car lot owner/neighbor he recommend a bottle of Cadiclean by Mr.Gasket. It cleared the fault. I'm running premium gas....so what's the fix?
300 dollars worth of 02 sensors...and the lights come back in a few weeks?

 

just under $100 for all 4 o2 sensors. get bosch. why do you think cel will come back?
I figure, car lots like to cover up problems for the quick sell.

off on my $100 .....thought it was like $130ish, but just looked up my bill from a few months ago.
I think my separate orders (up/down) confused me.
$86 for one pair and a $92 for the other pair SO, ...oops my mistake still not $300, though

That is more like what I was seeing. I thought maybe you had an O2 sensor tree in your backyard or something.
