Question about Fuel Pump

Question about Fuel Pump
I think my fuel pump is getting weak! Its hard to start in the morning and after a few minutes of driving and even though it runs smoot, upon turning the ignition off and when start up again, the gas won't go right back up and the idle starts to choke! My question is, where is the fuel pump on a 97 Discovery located at and is it hard to replace it? Thanks in advance!

My Rover Classic doing the same thing until it stopped dead
Of course it died in the middle of a beach of deep sand. Finally got it off the sand and onto pavement so that I could get it towed home.
The 94 range rover lwb had been having sporadic incidents of sputtering like it was starving for fuel. The episodes would last for a minute or so then go on like nothing was wrong for a few days. I changed the fuel filter and fuel pump (105K miles seemed like it was worth a shot).
When it died it was like it ran out of gas even though it had a full tank.
Any ideas?
