Default Questions Regarding my 1997 Land Rover Discovery

I just got my 1997 Land Rover Discovery SE today and just have a few things I have a few questions on.

> How do I get the back door open? I tried it this morning and it was fine, tried it tonight and it feels seized shut. Even went inside to see if I could release it nothing.

> The headlights pulse occasionally, what could be causing that? I know my "Check Engine" light is on, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

> The Discovery started fine all other times except today after I was away for five hours, it wasn't catching. I took the key out and tried again and it was fine after that.

> My "Check Engine" light is on all the time and has the ABS light illuminated while in park *not sure if it is suppose to be.

This is my first luxury vehicle so somethings may be normal, however I need to learn from fellow members, so I don't ask too many newbie questions

Thank you
Britney

The cargo door-pop the Land Rover emblem off the door handle and spray everything you see with Liquid Wrench or silicone spray.

The head lights pulsing is a bad alternator.

Starter starting to go bad.

The ABS light coming on when yo9u first start the truck and not shutting off until you reach 5mph is normal.

Take it to a autoparts store, thay can read your check engine light codes for free, write down what they tell you.
