Default Radiator boiling over

LR3 Drove my kiddos to school this morning. 12 miles total and by the time I get home steam boiling from under hood . Never registered on the dash gauge as running hot. Occasionally the low cool and level light has came on in the past. I've checked the level everytime it alerts me and it's always full. Any advise on this would be appreciated. Thanks

Coolant is so low it is not being pushed into the heater hose circuit. Engine is in danger. Maybe big bubble trapped inside, etc. Not many LR3 members have posted about gauge failing to show high temp, this is a known factor in D2, and somewhat in the D1. You can plug in a scanner like an Ultra Gauge and see true temperature.

Blockage of flow or low coolant.

Thanks guys . I have added coolant to the cold fill line in the reservoir. I am assuming this is the right place to add? Still same problem, must be a blockage. I would like to fix this myself but I'm strapped for time. I Have an indy shop that can take it tomorrow. It is a 5 mile drive. Too risky to drive there or should I have it towed?
