Where I previously lived, I programmed the garage door opener to two different garage doors in my Evoque without problem and it worked perfectly.

However, I have been totally unable to reprogram it to my new house. I have looked up YouTube, read the manual, "deleted" the former programming (according to the manual), etc. Still won't work.

The garage door openers were installed this year (2016) so this should not be an issue.

I'd rather not have to deal with the dealership. They can never get me in right away and they won't make an appointment for a specific time; I have to drop it off and God-knows-when I will get it back. They provide a loaner but I don't want to deal with the hassle.

It is probably an issue with the actual door opener. Check the user manual, sometimes you need to do something at the unit itself. Happened to me recently with a brand new German model we bought, after repeated attempts I read the manual and there is another procedure outlined that is carried out at the opener(Which my lazy self has yet to carry out).
