Hi rear air suspension is low on disco 2 any help please

 

First of all press the up button to put it in off road mode, check to see if it rises,if so switch off engine and listen for air leaks.If no noise is heard leave the vehicle to see if it drops on its own,if not drive it to check if it returns to normal ride hieght .You can listen to see if the compressor is running this is located on the left side under the floor in a plastic black box.If you know how to you can short the relay in the engine compartment fuse box to make the compressor run ,but only if you know an expert.I do this all the time if i cant get my hands on the diagnostic gear if some one else has it.Also check the air springs to see if they are perished this causes leaks that are hard to detect.Let me know how you get on, Paul in the uk

Rear suspension started sagging again. Right rear seems slightly lower than left, and I'm guessing that left rear deflates intentionally to stay balanced? In any case, pump comes on fine and suspension rises every time. Overnight it lowers again. So does this mean leaky right bag? Is there some way to be sure?

I have read that some people have had success in finding leaks on the bags by spraying soapy water on them and looking for bubbles... Cheap and can be done immediately, so I think it's a good starting point... Of course, the bags need to be pressurized...

For reference and it's from RAVE;

"Standard ride height, measured between the tip of
the axle bump stop rubber and the axle, is 61.5 mm (2.42 in)."

Measure your ride to make sure it is where it should be and then you can troubleshoot...
