Default Rear Diff. Replacement

Alright so I am trying to replace my rear diff. I have disconnected the rear drive shaft from the flange at the diff. and taken all the bolts off the rear diff and broken the seal around it, but now it still won't come out any advice on why?

I am sorry, as I went back to check your replay, I saw your name, been a long weekend.
So, you have to remove your axle from the end of each axle tube, pull each out 8 or 10"s then remove the diff. Why are you removing it?

I am trying to remove it because a piece has broken off inside and punched a hole in the back so I am taking it out to replace it.

If I am not mistaken, on your, you have a hub plate with 5 or 6 bolts on the eng of your axle, remove them and the axle, whixh is attached to that plate, will slide right out.
