Default Relay testing

Hey I have a 97 rover and the fan that pushes the air throughout the car has stopped working. I think I have narrowed it down to the relays. Does anyone know how to test the relays without buying new ones?

The relays hardily ever fail, have you tested the fuse, have you jumped the fan with a hot wire?
Normally it is the fan that fails.

Hey Mike,

I did take the fan out and hot wire it and it took off. I also tested all my fuses they were all good too. My only other thought was that the wiring could possibly gone faulty or that something between the brain and the fan may have come disconnected. I just thought that it could be the relays.

Thanks you for your reply and help,
Taylor

Did your blower motor quit all at once or over time and different speeds?
The blow switch has been known to have a higher failure rate then it should.

The blower seemed like it went out all at once. I am exactly sure though because I only used it on low most of the time. Where is the switch located?
