Default Removing front passenger wiper arm

My wife's 03 LR Discovery's passenger side wiper appears to be stripped.
The motor works but the wiper doesn't move. Just jerks a little bit, about 1/2". The nut holding it on seems oblong. I have tried a variety of tools I had on my workbench, but can't seem to get at the nut. Is there a special tool?
Thanks for any and all help!

A small socket will fit right in, try tightening it, if that doesn't work, you might try some epoxy on the hub before reinstalling the arm. If that doesn't work, you will need to replace the arm.

I am thinking 3/8th, but why not just walk out and look to make sure.

Are you trying to tighten the large washer nut? Or did you remove the black plastic plug to gain acsess to the tightning nut?
