Default Replaced front wiper motor and the arm assembly on my 2000 Disco

It was a easy fix.

The most difficult part was the removal of the hood. Other than that it was pretty easy.

you don't remove the hood, you take off the bolts and slide out the cover. then have an assistant hold the hood.

did it stop or was it loose, cause if its loose and its not the arm then the bolts on the transmission can be tightened up. you just have to pull up the cowl a bit and use a wrench. nothing fancy.

I was kinda wondering about the hood removal also. I didn't have to do anything more than open the hood and do a little manipulation when I pulled mine out.

I feel stoopid. I had the hardest time removing the plastic cover and was scared I was going to bust it. Thanks for the comments hopefully no one goes through the extra hassle. I will definitely need to ask and search for instructions here. I am a newbie. Thanks

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, though it can be a b!tch. Nothing like spending several hours on a project, only to find 90% of the way into it, that there was another way to do it in less then half the time. I've been there many times before, and I think anyone who says they haven't, isn't being honest.

I just got mine loose. Thought I was going to have to replace the wiper motor because mine works but keeps sounding awful and getting stuck after just one or two swipes. I thought something might be loose also. Ordered my motor and imagine my surprise when I found zero bolts holding my wiper motor in place. Now can someone tell me what the loose wire in the picture goes too?
