2002 disco rough idle , throttle lag , new injectors,coil,plugs and wires,idle air sensor,cleaned throttle body. This is an intermittent problem which started after a transmission fluid change? Even when running smoothly can’t pull trailer? After throttle lag power suddenly comes on strong. HELP I love this vehicle !!!

 

Seems like from your two older posts you’ve had this problem for years now.
Take off the intake air controller (IAC) on top of engine, Spray some carb cleaner into both air passages of IAC, use an old tooth brush and rag to clean inside good, reinstall, plug in connector and go for test drive.

This time, report back your results.

 

Replaced IAC and tps no help, cleaned throttle body did not remove, no help then one day it sputtered real bad came back to life and been fine?may replace Gizmo just after air cleaner but expensive ?

 

If it's running crappy you should have pending codes for misfires, O2 sensors, emissions or MAF.

 

Codes come up misfire all 8 cylinders and two codes fuel and air , no specific components,the only thing I haven’t changed is the Mass airflow sensor and the fuel pump?
