Default RRC Clear lenses

I came across this pic and fell in stupid love with how this looked. Seriously how cool is this pic?

Like a teenager in heat i jumped on the interwebz and I picked up some clear lenses from the UK. I didn't notice in the pic that these seem to mount through the front as you can clearly see in the pic.

I dunno how I missed this. I checked with the seller and they say it fits my year of truck. Mine (like all I've ever seen) mount from the top with pegs on the bottom. Am I missing something? Is there a different Euro housing not here in the US?

I think the early housings had removable lenses. NA spec trucks I don't believe had them. Love the whole front end set up on that thing though. Always wanted one of those grills for mine.

There's a guy in California who makes them. They aren't exactly of reproduction but pretty damn close and pretty cool. Charges about 300 bucks or so

it figures about the damn housing. Dammit.

The all clear lens is a very cool/different look. I've seen the amber with clear many times, but not all clear.
According to this site > Range Rover Italy - Range Rover Classic , the all clear were only available in Italy.
Either way still a good look, and I hope you can get the mounting sorted. If not the amber/clear (NAS mounting) are always an option for about $200 for the pair. L8 has them> LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER CLASSIC 87-92 FRONT SIDE AND FLASHER LIGHT SET RH LH NEW Good luck!

I'll dissent about the grill. Reminds me too much of a Jeep grill. But hey, that's why they make chocolate AND vanilla ice cream. Whatever floats your boat.

There you go, Walt. I still think the Euro split indicators are the most attractive and I loved the grille on my old '85. Here's a picture before installing a winch and underbody protection. Someone put their empty coffee cup on the mount for the winch controls!!!

I don't know if people from the UK are still selling them or not but the very early Range Rover indicators were in two pieces as was learned by Shiftonthefly! I remember going back 15 years or so I almost bought the amber and red version of the clear lenses pictured at the top of the thread. It was only because I happened to have a parts manual for my Range Rover that I caught myself from buying the wrong lenses. The sellers were picturing the lenses to make it difficult to see that they did not include the entire assembly.

The same thing goes for the rear tail light assemblies. The early ones were different than the later versions. It was almost like the difference between early and late DII's but in reverse.
