Smile Series 111 lightweight

Hi Folks
I'm new to all this, over the last 6 mths I've rebuilt a Series 111 lightweight, got it MOT'd but have started having problems with the electrics. Problem is that it does not charge the battery when running. I've got a new battery now and the alternator is new, but still got same problem. Has anyone got a pointer for me.

Bruce

I'm assuming it's a 12v since it has an alternator. Was it originally a 12v? Or is it a converted FFR?
Have you checked all the battery positive and earth connections to make sure they are clean and secure?

Thanks for reply Tom, it is a 12V one and I'm going down the route of clean all connections, was hoping I was missing something as its the first time I've done anything like this, thought I'd taken on to much. Thats the joy of these old things so they keep telling me.
Cheers again.
