Default Series 3 has me STRESSED

Hey guys, I recently imported an S3 ExMOD 109 pickup truck with hardtop, fitted with a 2.25 petrol engine. I was driving it when suddenly it lost oil pressure. Engine had a knock a knock and then seized when we thought we had the pressure issue sorted.

I don't even want to think about this truck anymore because of how much I paid for it. It arrived nothing like it was described and it needs way more than I'm capable of t. It's otherwise free of rust, save for the bulkhead--how much can I list it for as is? Where can I find a petrol or diesel 2.25 in the states that has a warranty? Would it be worth it to rebuild or a cheap swap?

I've called tons of experts here on the east coast and they're either booked into October or can't offer any help.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. As you know Series Land Rovers are worth quite a bit these days, so if you do want to sell it you shouldn’t have a lot of trouble. Of course a running vehicle will be worth more. I think if you do some google searching you’ll be able to find a 2.25 petrol engine. They are around. There is a fellow who is interested in buying my 2A who wants to remove my beautifully running 2.25 petrol engine to install a diesel. I don’t think this is uncommon. I’m not sure if roverguy.com (in Virginia) deals in the older Rovers, but he’s great to deal with and could probably get you going in the right direction.
