Shift to neutral with no power
Hi Guys first post. 2005 RR. Anyone know how to switch the car into NEUTRAL if there is no power to the car?? I need to boost my battery but it is in the middle of my garage and I can't get to it. I need to push the car out of the garage. I tried turning the key but won't work. Thanks for your help
The only thing I can think of is that some vehicles have a manual release for the shifter and I don't know if your truck does. I would call the dealer and get his advise. I would also check and see, if under warranty Rover will pay to have your truck winched out of the garage and taken to the dealer.

I can't really call the dealer as I am over mileage, and prefer not to take the car to the dealer if you know what I mean. Do you know where I can verify if the car has a manual release??? Thanks for the quick reply
Check your owners manual or call the dealer, those are your two choices.
I have a feeling you will have to have it drug out of your garage.
There is one other way to go, some companys make a battery booster you can plug into your lighter that would give you the voltage you need, check with Sears or some local auto parts stores.
