Try Mountain Motorwerks in Highlands. Should be about 8-10 miles away.
The owner there was with one of the Trek teams years back and is capable of handling what you need. I was fortunate enough to find him several months back when I was there for a show. Late Saturday afternoon we were able to construct a lower radiator hose for my Alpina so I was able to get back to Atlanta. It was a bit of a MacGyver repair but held very well and would have actually worked for a very long time but needed to be fixed correctly.

I would go with a company, as they will give you a comprehensive report of what their findings were.
The last time I used one was back in September, the company was Carchex.

Long story short, they saved me from an $8000 headache with an LR3 that was NOT as advertised, and their inspection report gave me the ammunition I needed to claw my "non-refundable" deposit back from the seller via PayPal, because of the gross misrepresentation in his listing.
Happy to PM you the login to my report to look at it as an example.
