I was poppy fuel pump relay in wet weather. after searching I stopped and went back to the basics I replaced cap and rotor it looks like i solved the problem. When it was trying to start it ,it appears the relay would over load. It has been good for 2 + weeks.

 

Good to know you are not having a problem, but that shouldn't have been the cause of your relay popping. For a relay to start acting up, the fuel pump has to be drawing more amps like when it is about to fail, or the relay is starting to go, which is common for Rovers.
