Hi im a little confused and fed up at moment can anybody help. my 52 plate td5 has failed its mot because the srs lamp will not go out. my garage put it on his fault reader and it says i have an open circuit passenger airbag to ignition ? he has tried various things to try and sort it but at mo has drawn a blank, we tried a second hand srs ecu (dcu) but couldnt even find it to communicate with it. the wiring diagram i have from my rave disc workshop manual says F35 fuse is for srs even taking this fuse out will not turn of lamp and im being told the srs system is not fused has any body got a pin list for the ecu multi plug so we can test all circuits or any pointers to help me over come my problem thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

 

I'm no expert... but I think I read a post a while back... and it could have been old then... but It was about a leaking headliner... leaking onto the steering wheel... and the corrosion caused a bad connection to the airbag. Disconnect the Neg Battery cable before you do any poking around tho.
