Disco II 2000 SRS Light Problem After Headlight Bulb Replacement
I am new to this Forum and have already learned much about my 2000 Disco. I replaced the existing halogen headlight bulbs with Hilite Superwhite Xe 7000K Xenon bulbs. I did not disconnect the battery. I followed the manual. All went easy and well. However, the SRS light is now on and assume it is related. Do I simply need my mechanic to reset the system. Is there something more serious I need to be concerned about? Are the new bulbs (12V 60/55W) causing other issues? Appreciate any feedback.[/align]

RE: Disco II 2000 SRS Light Problem After Headlight Bulb Replacement
Is the SRS light on all the time or just when the head lights are on?
I believe that the airbags have their own dedicated circuit to help prevent things like this from happening.
You could put your old bulbs back in and see what happens.
I doubt the two are related, but I dont know for sure.

RE: Disco II 2000 SRS Light Problem After Headlight Bulb Replacement
Thanks for replying Spike555. The SRSlight comes on as usual during ignition start up, turns off for an instant and comes back on. It is on with and without lights. I had the steering wheel spindle (?) replaced last winter to resolve a similar the SRS lite problem. Any other ideas how to solve without putting it on the computer? The work is still under warranty so I guess I can have LR take a look.
