steering link on 90

Default steering link on 90

how do i change the steering link on a 90 i got a repair kit for it and its al apart but cant get the threaded bar out with ball on the end HELP

Do you mean the ball joint on the end of the steering drop arm?

If so, you need a pair of circlip pliers, turn the drop arm over so you can look at the flat bottom of the drop arm (other side from the threaded bar) and you should be able to see the circlip 'eyes'. Squeeze them together with the pliers and draw the circlip out. Turn the drop arm back over and it should pretty much fall to pieces. If not then it might need a little persuasion, turn it back over again (so threaded bar is verticalling downwards) and gently tap the top of the thread on to a piece of wood (I used a 2 foot length of 4x2 for mine recently) it's probably just the grease holding it in.
