Recently i got my 1995 Land Rover Discovery running again and for the first week it didnt make and noises when you dont have a seat belt on or the key is left in the starter switch and the door is open, the other day when i went to start it up it made the chime noise for a few seconds then went to a constant beep and only goes out when the car is turned off. im not sure what's wrong but i have a few theory's. water may have gotten inside the dash andmessed upthe thing that chimes, or becasue the service engine light is on it wont stop making the noise because it should be taken in. im not really sure, but if anyone has any ideas to as of what may be wrongor how to fix it, it would be much appreciated

Pretty strange,after I had my new motor put in I also had a strange beeping,finally figured out was the door chime,only time it went off was when you turned the key off,other day had to put new ignition switch in my Disco,now no more noise
