Swimming pool on wheels!
Hey guys, as some of you may know, I have recently tackled the headgaskets on my disco. With plenty of swearing, late nights and twiddling my thumbs waiting for parts, I finished the endeavor and now the disco is running like a well oiled machine. Yes! Unbelievable right?
Anyways, as stated before I live in Oregon where there is lots of rain. Which leads me to another issue that needs to be addressed with my disco...
Over the past couple days I have been out of town with a couple of friends hunting and while I was gone we had some fairly bad rainstorms. Which I will get back to in a moment. Yesterday I got in my landy to run to the store and pick up some groceries and noticed my seat belt was pretty damp and the windows were pretty foggy like there was a lot of moisture in the air. (Which there is/was)
So I cranked up the defrost and hit the defrost button on the dash and began to drive. While going up the slight hill by my house I was super soaked by ice cold water dumping onto my face, shoulders and lap coming from seemingly endless areas of my over engineered British showering unit.. I s**t you not water was coming in from the seat belt pillars, the home link/ dome light area and visors. What is causing this? My front sunroof and dome light no longer work and headliner is beginning to sag. So I would like to address the leak before I replace the headliner and whatever else got destroyed just for it to happen again.
