upon having a reco ingin installed after 4 years of saving
the machic who installed the motor and assembled all inadvertently some how installed radiator hoses incorrectly after 30 mitutes of id-eliding his assistant went for test drive 2k eng hot 2 1/2k red line 2 1/2k back over hills steam and then hose down
my problem is now fuel pump and injectors
he states 4 years off storage causing execs fuel and smoke from exhaust

another diesel person said cooked injectors and fuel pump not repairable
the correct answer please

Some mechanic if he can get hoses mixed up, not many if any TDI's in the US so you would be better asking on AULRO, i have had my 98 TDI for 10 years and almost 170K.
It may be the valve stem seals have dried out or could be worn turbo shaft causing excess smoke, you need to determine if its oil being burnt or running too rich.
