Tie Rod or Hub damage or both? VIDEO
Hi everyone,
Please help us diagnose this; would like to do the work ourselves instead of taking to a shop if possible.
SITUATION: 06’ LR3 on coils that was driving perfectly was rode pretty darn hard on some tough and heavily rutted forest roads for hours getting off trail and back to civilization. When we hit the pavement at highway speeds during big sweeping turns the steering got scary and started to drift and was not very responsive to inputs. At slower speeds (30 and under) the issue is not very noticeable but you can still tell something is not right.
Here is a link to 4 short videos (forum said video files were too big) of the LR3 front jacked up and the wheel being moved by hand at the 3 and 9 clock positions. Both front wheels are affected. When shaking the driver side wheel I could see the steering linkage (not sure of exact part) through the top of the wheel well moving a lot too.
12 and 6 appears solid with no movement.

thank you for advice!
