Default Timing problem

Sorry if this is a repost but i've been looking and haven't found something similar to mine. I'm new to the land rover world. I have a 99 Disco II with about 93k I was driving is last weekend and noticed it had more vibrations than normal. It shiftskind of smooth(i haven't found where the stick is to check the tranny fluid) but feels like the engine almost wants to die when i accelerate. Kind of hard to explain. If it's not the tranny i'm guessing it could be a timing problem. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Do you have a check engine light on, if so what are the fault codes? When was it last tuned, were the plug wires replace, what octane gas are you using, have your 02 sensors been changed yet????
