Tire rotation
BMW says not to.
I didn't w/great success on my 4x4 Explorers.
I did w/very poor success initially on a rear drive -- then stopped and was much happier.
What do you folks think -- I have 2012 LR4.
TIA,
Jim

I rotate my tires every time I drive.
I never rotate my tires.
On a front wheel drive car the rears will last twice as long as the fronts if you do not rotate them.
On a full time 4x4 they wear out at about the same time as long as you dont have alignment issues.
This is what I do, others will say rotate front to back.
Yet others will say to rotate in a "X" pattern, and others still will say to include your spare tire in the rotation.
I say that is alot of work to save a few thousand miles of tread wear.
