i currently have 265/70/16 michelin cross terrain tires with 60% tread

looking at a set of 245/70/16 Firestone destinations that are new

what tire do you think will be better for snow/ some off roading.

Have you looked at the Tire Racks survey on each tire?

The Firestone is the one I would get.

 

I have 245/75/16 in Kelly Safari TSR they've been very good in mud sand rocks and very quite on paved roads. I will soon find out how well they are in the snow this up coming season. The sypes look pretty good for snow and wet conditions.
