Default torsion/anti-roll bar

I have a 2001 land rover Discovery II, I bought new bushings from Atlantic British P\n RBX101690G When replacing front and rear torsion bushing, Is it normal to have a gap in the bushing seam? It seem as if the inside diameter is to small to fit around the Bar.
