Hello All,
I have a 97 4.6 RR. I need to purchase a tranny. I'm sure it's best, but does the year have to be the same as long as the tranny are? Meaning I want to do this w/ as little as issues as possible, so what should I know exactly. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

 

The torque converters are different on 4.0's from 4.6's other than that they are the same. The Disco's have a different tail housing. ibis1
