Can anyone help me with this:

I have a 2005 RR HSE with the OEM 19 x 8.5 wheels on it. I am looking at upgrading/buying 4 factory OEM 20 x 9.5 wheels off a 2007 RR sport. Will these fit my 2005 HSE or will modification be required? Thank you very much for your help!

I would say call a dealer they will know for sure.

 

Why are you wanting to go to a larger tire, they are terrible off road, cost a fortune and don't last long?

my Freelander still has the stock 18s on it and I've gone through two sets of tires almost and I'm only at 34,000 miles

 

James, I know your ride doesn't have the power to wear those tires down and I am not aware of any wear issues with a Freelander. What brand of tire are you running?

Thanks for your reply. I did call a dealer and was directed to the Parts department. The gentleman who answered was afraid to give me a difinitive answer but did say they "should" fit. This didn't leave me with a warm and fuzzy so I thought I would try the forum.
