Default URGENT Fuel injector parts dropped in cylinder.

Help and advise needed.

I was pulling my injectors today to clean them. Dang things are seized in the engine. I slowly pull the injectors up and out with some force needed. I finally get the rail out with all four injectors only to see that a couple O-rings are still in the engine. After further investigating I see that two of the injectors are missing a little rubber things below the bottom O-ring. I searched in the hole and around it but I can not find this little rubber thing. I modified a vacuum with a cut piece of air hose and tried to suck the part out. This was unsuccessful. Tried using compressed air to move the part around. This was unsuccessful. What do I do? Currently four of these plastic parts are in the engine. Think they will just burn up if I run it.

Here’s the little A-hole that dropped into the engine.

You might want to (a) say what vehicle you're working on, and then (b) post in the forum for that vehicle.

Hi, it’s an ‘05 LR3 with 160k. I did post on the LR3 forum… but I figure this is a general inquiry. I’m starting to think I should pull the intake manifold. Curious if this has happened to anyone else and what they ended up doing.
