Default Fuel injector and O-ring question

Injector rail and o-ring re-install.
When I pulled the existing fuel rail and injectors it all came out fine but I noticed some hard spacers after the injectors.
The kit I got from AB has the o-rings but nothing else that would account for/nor fit at the end of the injectors.
I've attached a picture of mine, some are broken and some are complete. I have no idea what these are for, or needed.
Thanks all.

Those are the pintle caps. There are kits that sell them

V8 Fuel Injector Service Repair Kit O-Rings Filters Seals Retainers Pintle Caps | eBay

Replace the filters too!

If you want to go 100%, send the injectors in for a professional service. I don't recommend trying it yourself. i did, and it wasn't worth it.

04in719, those bits are needed or the fuel injector will leak. The lower o ring won't seat properly. Don't ask me how I know .

That sucks for me, was hoping to get it put back together this weekend. Seems I'll have to wait a few days for these to ship, can't find them anywhere local.

If you're in a pinch you can break the rest of the plastic off and stack another o-ring in its place. That's how mine has been for a couple years now.

If you don't have any o-rings, you can get some from an F150 from your local auto parts store. Hold on and I'll look up the year and engine real quick. Don't recall off hand.
