Velar 2019 phone USB charging port
Hi I just purchased a 2019 velar and have an interesting problem and I don't believe it is unique to my particular vehicle (as we tried multiple lr / jags in the dealership).
I have an android phone and when plugging in to charge it kicks off and will not charge. Almost like a defense mechanism coming from the range rover side. After resetting vehicle, we try and iPhone and it works fine, but then retry the Android and it does not work and the iPhone no longer charges.
The dealership seemed to think it was a charger issue. Purchased a new charger and same problem. I'm now thinking it has to do with a third party charger sending incorrect wattage to the car.
Ideas? Thanks!

my best bet would be to change your android phone behavior when connected to your car you have multiple options what you do with your phone once you connect it thru usb so maybe change the mode from file sharing image sharing and all that to charge only maybe that helps other than that it might be your car settings
