Lately I have been seeing a lot of used Autologics for sale.

If you are considering buying an Autologic computer, be careful. They have decided to stop supporting their Bluebook program, meaning if you buy one second hand, you cannot update software, buy new software, or buy cables for the unit.

If you are an exiting customer they will sell you a software update, but only for the mark you have bought in the past.

Pretty crazy. They are forcing people into there new assist plus for 15k.

I just renewed my software/service contract for $1663 dollars. They charged me a reconnection fee of $200 since I had let my original service contract lapse(which was $1240) and is now $1440.

I feel sorry for anyone that attempts to buy a used one without this knowledge. They won't even sell a cable if you are not an existing customer!

 

crazy money, buy brand new or they dont want to deal with you, what a company.
i thought $250 a model was crazy for my hawkeye. but there is no annual fees for upgrades and service, i dont know about service, i'll find out soon, having an issue

 

The good is that it does all Land Rover vehicles up to present. 12 hour a day live tech support and they not only tell you how to use the tool, but how to fix the problem.

Great deal for a shop, a bit steep for me.

 

Exactly if you have a shop its writeoff anyway, but the average guy no.

the way they conduct business is awful I bought 4 blue boxes in the passed and then the unit started losing certain program options then the company was bought out by another company and some of the old people came back to the company so I decided to upgrade to a new unit for 10k$ and within 11 days they start to offer the same units for $3500 if you had a active account which I did! so I bought another 2 units so I called back to the main office and they said that it is not their problem since I bought the computer from a outside vendor and not them (FALSE) When I called to buy the unit they referred me to the vendor where I bought my units so to recoup some my money back I decided to sell my old blue boxes on ebay then someone from Autologic calls me and tells me that I can not sell them because they will remove the software from the units now I am stuck with 3 very large blue paper weights! I was a very loyal customer and for a small shop to buy 4 units it was BIG investment for us and now this company to treat their customers like this is insane. I have given them an opportunity to fix this but no response as of yet.I would rather buy a real factory Diag tool then to deal with this shady company
