Default Water pump/pulley issue

2002 D2 broke down today, I think it's the water pump. Pulley broke off. Immediate loss of power steering, battery light came on, and started overheating within 2 minutes.
I'm assuming it needs a new water pump, unless it's possible to just replace the pulley wheel? Curious how difficult a job this should be? I'm pretty amateur but would love to do it myself if possible. How difficult to replace the pump and belt?

1. Post D2 issues in the D2 forum.
2. The water pump is replaced as a whole unit. Pretty simple job.
3. That's the tensioner pulley, not the water pump. You need to replace that whole assembly.

Tensioner replacement is easy. I hope you didn’t overheat your engine. Two minutes is way too long to be running without the water pump turning. As said above, post this in the D2 section of the forum.

You can get a metal tensioner pulley vs plastic.
