What does 'bad cylinder' mean?
First, unless you switched out your engine, you have a 4.0.
How mentioned to you that you have a bad cylinder, is your truck running bad, have you let it over heat, are you loosing coolant or is your check engine light on?

It's definetly a 4.6 maybe I wrote 4.0 in an earlier posting, sorry. I'm not sure what he meant by bad cylinder but I trust him since I'm friends with his daughter so I guess I'll find out more tommarrow . THANKS! Bobby
Bobby,
I am confused, did you change out your engine, if not, it really is a 4.0.
What is it doing to lead you to think it has a bad cylinder?

The badge on the back tailgate says 4.6 HSE. It's a 2000 Range Rove
I misunderstood, I thought it was a Disco.
Has anyone done a compression or chemical test on the coolant system?
It is most likely a leaking head gasket which is very common in Rovers so make sure they check before they start tearing into the engine.
