Default Who has best price on D2 coolant hoses and 180 thermostat

Its time to replace coolant hoses on my 2003 D2. I priced hoses at Atlantic British,....and it was something like $300 for a complete set of hoses. That's nuts. Ive seen the Motorad 439-180 thermostat on Amazon with the URO hoses. All in for $111 shipped.,....but the reviews say the hoses are not a very good quality.

Wondering if anyone has found Goodyear or Dayco hoses for the D2?? Or,....found a good price on another quality set of hoses.

Brian, I would check with Lucky8, I believe it is Eric, he normally gives forum members discount, by the way, many have had poor luck with the Motorad thermostat.

Heard that too and went with the PEM100990 Eurospare branded that available from the mid $20. Been good to me so far and dropped my temps about 5 degress, many others opt for the LR grey one for more bucks.

you can find hose from many manufatures locally, the problem is trying to get a whole kit.
if you have to replace a upper or lower not a big deal,
if you want to replace all the over heated plastic stuff under the hood it become much hard locally.

x2 on the motorad t-stats

I replaced my plastic "T" on the upper hoses with a galvanized pipe set up and a brass petcock for bleeding air out of the system a few years ago, Still leak free,....but I have seeping on that mess of hoses around the thermostat at that plastic Y pipe.
