Can anyone definitively tell me if there were Discovery 1's sold in the U.S. without evaporative control. It seems to make a difference with the lower radiator hose part number. I have never seen one and have always thought it was mandatory since the 70's.

 

All cars sold in the US since the mid '70's have some sort of EVAP system.
The DI switched over to Advanced EVAP (AEVAP) in '97 but some '96's also have it.
