manifold crack

Default manifold crack

if i sanded down my exhaust manifold, and aplied a jb weld, would that do the job?

DO NOT JB WELD IT! Any way, jb weld is a fix in an emargancy I can see, but you need to have a shop try to weld it up, they will tell you it may not hold but it will be better than JB weld. if you JB weld it, theres a good chance if it don't work you won't be able to have it welded. Also check the recall out it will prolly cover you.

Can I take advantage of that recall still? I have acrack developing

Call a dealer have them check your vin for recalls, I have mig welded manifolds with good results

If you need to buy one, I have them used for $50 plus shipping. They are glass beaded clean and thoroughly inspected for any cracks or damage. Any studs are cleaned and all the threads are chased. Let me know if I can be of any help.
