Default 08 LR2 Throttle Body bench testing

I cleaned up my spare Throttle Body (TB) and took several resistance measurements on the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). This may be helpful as a reference for someone who buys a used TB and wants to compare it to a known good unit.

The pinout of the 6-pin TPS connector is shown below. Pins 1 and 2 are power for the TB motor. Pins 3 thru 6 provide the computer with the position of the TB butterfly valve. Here are the resistance measurements for these pins:

Power Pins:
P1, P2 = 6 ohms

TPS Sensor Pins:
P4, P5 = 176 ohms
P5, P6 = 172 ohms
The other pin combinations are not connected to each other.

I applied power to P1 (pos) and P2 (neg) to manually operate the motor. Using a bench power supply with precise settings, I limited the max current supply to control the motor speed. At 12 VDC, it took 2.3 amps for the valve to open smoothly. Allowing the motor to draw higher current at 4.0 amps made it snap open quickly and with great force (careful with your fingers!). I made a short video (attached file below) showing the valve movement to test that the motor works.
