2008 Land Rover LR2, shifter locked and no start HELP
So yesterday i drove my Lr2 home and everything was working fine. i later went to start the vehicle and an E appeared on my dash with transmission fault. It wont start or shift out of park. i was able to get it started by jumping the solenoid but still locked in park.
The battery and starter are brand new and work good
What could cause this?

What is the year and mileage of your LR2?
Also, check the voltage of the battery with a voltmeter. If the voltage is low, it can cause the computers to misbehave and report false positives resulting in chaos.
And try starting the engine with your alternate keyfob, just to eliminate that as a source of the problem.

Of all the stupid error messages Ford could have come up with, "You crashed because your battery voltage is low." takes the cake. I wonder if any of the engineers managed to argue against a "Battery Low Voltage" error message. <sigh>
This sounds like a weak battery problem. Did you leave a light on?
If the battery is 5+ years old just replace it asap, before it creates more problems.
Check the battery with a battery tester (not just a voltmeter). FLAPS can do that for you if you don't have a tester or want to buy one.
These cars are crazy-sensitive to a weak battery and low voltage, messes up the computers.

Hi Everyone,
I've replaced the battery and starter. so they should be good, I scanned the codes and im getting codes ive never seen before
[CURRENT] U0101 Lost communication with TCM
[PENDING] P0031 HO2S heater control circuit low bank
This is what's stopping the engine from starting and shifting i believe.
Any common solutions/problems around this? Maybe some fuses or connections i can check

Hi thanks for responding,
P0107 manifold absolute pressure sensor circuit low is also pending
Those are the only codes that appear immediately after clearing. Those are the only codes besides one related to my exhaust leak
