2008 Land Rover LR2, shifter locked and no start HELP
We know you replaced the battery recently, but it could be faulty. Or it could have been depleted by a parasitic drain. Suggest you test the battery to determine its current state. Ideally with a load tester. But lacking that, even a simple voltage test might indicate a problem.

All those codes are generic OBD2 error codes that are pretty much useless with these cars except for very basic troubleshooting of things like "You forgot to put the cap back on the fuel tank". You need a reader that can talk to the car's various modules and get the extended LR-specific DTC's (Diagnostic Troubleshooting Code), like the Autel AP200 Bluetooth scanner (something like $60 from Amazon and includes one vehicle family diagnostic with the price) or the specific Jaguar-Land Rover diagnostic unit from iCarsoft, also available on Amazon. Without that you're going to waste a lot of time chasing your own tail.
The full Repair Manual and Wiring Diagram document (well over 2,000 pages) is freely available for download in PDF form, the link is available here. Just search for it. The explanation of the possible causes of error code U0101(-87) is on pages 66 and 67 of the repair manual.
