Default 2008 LR2 Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement

Hi. Has anyone attempted to replace the rear wheel bearing in the '08 LR2?
Not sure what the procedure is to get the hub off.
Removed the rotor etc. hub is wobbly. Can I sue a gear puller and push on the drive axle?

Hi. I would be interested in knowing also. 2008 LR2 with 104,000 getting loud right side. Since I'm in there, do I do both sides? Just started to look into the feasibility of me doing the work or the shop. Thanks! If I find any answers outside of here I will share. Getting back on our feet financially; had disabling health problems and job down-sizing...so really do not want to pay for shop overhead if do not have to.

This is a very difficult job to complete. You'll need a quality shop press, 15 ton. You will need to remove the complete wheel knuckle, remove the wheel hub from the bearing, press the old bearing out, press in the new into the knuckle, and then reinstall the knuckle. Then alignment

Default what if dif service LBT00342

BritishautoworksSD - Pinion Bearing Spacer: Technical Service Bulletins
Drivetrain - Rear Differential Service Repair Info. No: LTB00342. What if the symptom/sound that I'm hearing, thinking is the bad wheel bearing, is actually the more popular failure of the pinion bearing as noted above. Could a somewhat intelligent, experienced mechanic-me, do this job? Complaints I have read about are noises from the right axle side, whereas my job sounds like the left side-idk until it is opened up. Thank you.

I believe, from what I've read, there is a somewhat fragile wire that goes to the differential that gets broken and causes the issue.
