That is the Land Rover site to download maintenance manuals for their vehicles, and yes, they are not free. I have the manual for the Freelander 2, which is basically the same car, and it has the wiring diagrams. Perhaps this will help.
Under the carpet in the back hatch. Also there is a speaker on the floor board looks like a subwoofer then below this is the plug then to the left of the plug is the spare tire.
Also I did not cut the wires or show them they were already like this. That's why I am asking what it goes too. I thought the speaker but normally they only have 2 wires rather then 4 unless it's a dvc subwoofer or speaker.

The hatch is the rear DOOR that swings open or closed to give you access to the rear of the vehicle. You are talking about the floor of the rear cargo area which hinges up to give you access to the spare tire. That's not a hatch, which is why I was confused.
The component in the image is the subwoofer assembly and the wiring someone or something chewed on is the subwoofer wiring.
