Anyone know how to install LR2 2008 wiring for puddle lights? It seems like I will need to install extra wires to the system.

I did not know there are LR2's without those. Mine's an SE and it has them.

 

Nope. Opened the door too and dont see any extra wires even though there is a slot available at the bottom of the door available for the puddle light.

i saw this in another forum but its not clear where I get the parts and also seems a bit more complex.

It looks like you need to wire them to pins 3 and 14 of the door control modules on both sides of the car.

Apparently in some countries with few or no puddles (like Oz) the cars are ordered without the puddle lights.
