Got a p2404 thrown the other day which I cleared and ran for a week before throwing a p2402. Thinking the circuit connection is weak or bad and need to either give it a wiggle and leaning or replace the DMTL altogether.
Where is the stinking thing?!? Figure it's easy to DIY, but I can't find where the hell it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to the service manual the DMTL is located behind the rear tire (Drivers side for USA model) opposite side of where the gas (petrol?) is filled.
To access it you will need to remove the wheel well liner.
Having said that if I were trying to fix your issue I would swap out the fuse.
Looking at the wiring diagram it looks like the F1 is the fuse that connects to the DMTL.
This fuse is in the engine compartment in the fuse box near the battery.
Note: I said replace the fuse, I didn't say the fuse is open
Unfortunately the type of Fuse used or their location make them susceptible to corrosion. (I think that this may be on purpose so that the fuse acts as a sacrificial anode)
Note: on my car even the spare fuses had corroded
This is what I bought
BESTEK 120pcs 5A/7.5A/10A/15A/20A/25A/30A Blade Fuses Assorted Car
I replace all of my fuses due to electrical problems that were draining the battery.
I'ts been two months and I haven't had any more drained (flat) battery in the morning.
Good Luck
