Default 2010 lr2 driver's window switch dead no lights for window or mirror

Hi all been looking for thread that is related but all talk about regulator. my driver's door window switch stopped functioning and appears to have no power to the switch, no lights for mirror function and no light to window lock button all other windows work. so no adjustment for mirror or any window function. fuse in rear box 25amp is good and swapped with known working one just to be sure. no luck, bought new switch and no luck, so any idea's would be great, I see there is a control module on the door but that is hard to find other than ebay used? any and all help greatly appreciated!!! also I don't have a meter with small enough probe to to get to wire to check for power.
Mike

Sounds like it's the module but to check that you need the JLR SDD diagnostic software and a Mongoose cable, or else you take it to a dealer or mechanic who has one. A replacement module will have to be paired to the car's computer as well. Just to make sure, unplug the module, clean everything with electronic contact spray and plug it in again. That may fix it.

Thank you for the quick reply, I am fighting many issues with this like everyone else. I gave it to the daughter a couple of years ago and am regretting that, have to do the exhaust soon and am trying to find out if the cat to second cat y pipe is bolted together and not studs will change whether i try it myself or not,( bolts) are rotted to small nubs so can't tell. The parasitic draw, which I have fiber looped the sat and bluetooth, still draining etc. etc. Is the software for this open for a indy shop or are they locked out like when I tried to have a trailer module programed, which no-one could get to work including dealer in natick, cause warwick RI was just pathetic. thanks Mike.

Well, no, not everyone else is having problems like this. I only see you posting about it. The catalytic converters are bolted but those bolts are usually frozen and must be cut off. The software can be downloaded from the web but you have to buy the Mongoose cable.

Hello Mikemedic.... I should get the Mongoose Cable (latest version V160) either today or on Monday if you are interested send me a PM. I only have one available but there is more on the way. ETA for those could be as far as 25 days out with the current shipping bottlenecks on inbound freight to the USA.

I had no power to the drivers window controls, mirrors, locks and a few lights. Land Rover LR2 2008 and it was the in cabin fuse #17. The problem now is finding why it keeps blowing? Anybody?

Most likely a short to ground somewhere. Follow it from the end back to the source using the wiring diagram.
