2011 LR2 Cleared Adaptive with GAP and No start
Wasn't there something else wrong with your car they could blame, like my lean state fault codes, which could have caused the no start?
I had cleaned my MAF sensor prior to clearing adaptations, so my first thought was that somehow I had damaged the MAF sensor. So I went out and bought a new one before contacting GAP.
On the bright side, after the mechanic got the car started, I have been driving it for three days and the lean state fault codes haven't come back. But it can take a while, maybe a week of driving without the codes and I will be a happy camper.
Maybe the new MAF sensor was what was needed.
Can only tell you my experience. I had not changed any part of the LR2. The only thing done was with the GAP tool... My goal was to clear some faults and attempt to narrow causes for ABS, HDC faults (local LR tech said it needed 2k in parts plus labor), and make spear keys. I did contact GAP asap when the LR2 stopped. It was running as the adaptive values were cleared, then it stop dead. Even though it should not of had the effect it did, I knew enough clearing those was not related to my issue.
The GAP has given enough info do take to a different LR tech.

Although GAP tool did help on the LR2 providing info that should save on repair cost, GAP really did a lot more for my LR3 with more functions, options, live feedback, and more + has rear diff lock abilities and info. Great as LR3 has rear diff lock option
