Default 2011 LR2 Cleared Adaptive with GAP and No start

All seemed working well with new GAPII D BT Tool... Got into 'Options', 'PCM-Engine PV8', and hit 'Clear Adaption Values'. Running LR2 stopped running and will not start
I was on a roll... I know what adaptive values are, but by the time my brain was saying NO, it was to late!
Any ideas men and women of LR World?

FYI... Same thig happened to a 2012 LR2 owner. He had to take the LR and have parts reprogramed including keys. Link below, and I ask why new keys. Hope for a better result here

First, did it really say "Clear Adaption Values"?? If they can't even spell "Adaptation" correctly, would you really trust the quality of the rest of the tool? Second, I really think the car is telling you to stop trying to get stuff done by experimenting and take it to the dealer. Third, don't let your fingers get ahead of your brain.

Thanks
GAP said that should not cause a problem.... Try hard reset. If that does not work, send them fault codes.
My figures are moving in slow motion

Yes, but that only requires three manual tools; a #10 socket, a ratchet and your hands.

LR2 is still not starting. The GAP support doing a lot.... It seems I and GAP, as some of you, just hit this issue. I am bit of a rough guy on bad service, but the GAP team seems they are really taking this serious and will not stop till they solve it..... So at this point I am not complaining a bit.... In fact I am impressed.

GAP Diagnostic team came through!!!! I was notified they were still working on it early this morning. Around noon they sent instructions with new firmware. Took about two minutes in the LR2 to load, log, and start.

Support did a GREAT job!

The GAPII BT really is better for the LR3. More functionality on the LR3 for live data, options + rear diff lock info and options

Nice. They blew me off telling me it was probably my lean state causing the no start (possible, but that had been going on for 6 months and never caused much other than bad mileage), and I paid $600 to have a mechanic reprogram my BCU.
One question: did you try to clear the adaptions a second time before they fixed the firmware? I did, and I got an error, that's when I knew my computer was screwed up.
It cleared adaptions with no error the first time (even though it wouldnt start after that), so what changed so it couldnt clear them again? The only answer was that a computer was now messed up.

No, did not try to a second time. GAP support said right from the beginning clearing adaptations should not have stopped the LR2 from turning over. Support had me run some diagnostics with the GAP log on then emailed. Running Faults, Advanced, checking only Confirmed and Pending, then running the Fault check gave good info. With all checked in Advanced, many false positive faults show.

At the of the day, GAP tool did not fix anything, but did narrow possible problems in wiring and ABS module.

Bad thing about Land Rover is a Fault shown is many times a symptom of something else. Seems anything from a bad ground to a burned out tail light. My LR3 stopped auto shifting due to a burned out tail light... Only caught the $2.00 fix by searching this forum. Replace bulb, all good
