My key fob will not eject from dock. The fob itself has not worked for anything but to start the car. This has been the situation for 5 years and this morning was the first time it did not eject. Anyone with this experience?

 

Usually this is caused by not having the shifter in Park.

If it's in Park, do you have anything heavy attached to the fob? Lots of keys or heavy key-ring trinket. That can pull down and jam the fob. It can also damage the mechanism.
